INHERIT YOUR RIGHTS

Inherit Your Rights (https://sites.google.com/site/inherityourrightsngo/ ) is a small, start-up but passionate Arusha based, NGO. This NGO began, initially, to provide legal support for widows in Tanzania and have, since their inception, broadened to include women and children’s legal rights. We provide education, empowerment and representation through radio programs and training women’s groups as well as providing legal aid for those in need. We are also proud to have just sent our second legal fellow to Laws School of Tanzania to complete their studies to become an Advocate.



POSITION AVAILABLE

IYR is currently looking for a staff person who has a legal background/ law degree and who is a good communicator, passionate about women’s rights, hardworking and humble who might be able to take up the role of training our 6 groups of women every week as well as record radio shows that educate the general public about the law in Tanzania. We have a clear curriculum and summaries of a wide variety of subjects. The salary for this full time position is budgeted at 400,000/- per month.

We are looking for someone that is results driven, able to teach grassroots women with passion but also with wisdom.
