> JOB PURPOSE
As a Territory Manager, your role is to manage sales of tigo products and services within North zone, in order to ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales team; as well as identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales goals.
> Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate sales teams in order to comply with objectives and applying correct procedures.
• Assure correct implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
• Ensure high quality of training and coaching of the sales force both direct & indirect sales
• Design, develop and manage diverse ways of increasing the customer base, manage sales and distribution channels within the territory
• Review and analyze weekly sales of areas and assigned distributors by region. Permanent evaluation of performance.
• Periodically visit the regions in the territories, to ensure correct implementation of company’s policies and strategies.
• Assign targets to distributors and supervisors by product, and prepare reports for payments of commissions.
• Attend customer requirements of point of sales and distributors.

> QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• University degree or equivalent, preferable Bachelor in business administration/Marketing/Business/Engineering
• MBA or Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• 3-5 years of managerial experience with field and operation experience preferable in FMCG
> CORE COMPETENCIES
• Ability to engage in effective and persuasive negotiations and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of cultures in a diverse community.
• Mature ability to work collaboratively with management teams throughout the organization and to be seen as a valuable expert resource to be sought out.
• Ability to set and manage priorities
