A leading group of hotels in Zanzibar is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the positions mentioned below


4. Hotel nurse
Reporting to the General Manager:
1) Oversee, monitor and control general operations of the Clinic and issues related to the staff and the guests. Responsible for staff welfare.
2) Provide a weekly/monthly report to the General Manager on health matters concerning staff and the guests, ensure the required stock levels at all the times.
3) Will be responsible for health care of employees and Hotel guests in All the properties
4) Control staff sick offs, monitor progress of sick staff/guests cases and referrals.
5) Work in corroboration with Human Resources Manager on matters of staff personal hygiene, staff quarters cleanliness and staff training on medical issues.
6) Ensure high standards of hygiene in the Hotels, and render high quality service to guests and staff.
7) I In charge of Clinic records and generate weekly and monthly reports to management as well as advise management on medical/health matters.
8) Ensure Occupational Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
9) Conduct periodic basic medical training on health matters to employees on various fields.

Qualifications

• Good academic qualification in Secondary School, Age: 35 to 45 years old
• A qualified Nurse with a valid Nursing Council License (Enrolled Community Nurse)
• Must have an experience of not less than 4 years working in a busy Hospital.
• Must be able to diagnose and treat common diseases
• Must have a good track record from previous employers.
• Good communication skills, good in English, i.e in writing, reading and speaking.
• Flexible in working hours and schedules, able to work independently without supervision
